Who we are
DataNinja is made by HGX Media, New Delhi. When this notice says "we", it means HGX Media. For anything about your data, write to [email protected]. That inbox is our contact for questions and complaints about personal data.
What we collect, and why
When you ask for a demo we save your name, WhatsApp number with country code and work email, and, if you add them, your brand or store link, orders a month, platform and what you want to fix. We also keep which version of this notice was on screen and when you sent the form, the page and button you sent it from, the first part of your network address and your country. We use this to contact you about DataNinja on WhatsApp, phone and email, and to prepare the demo. A message to our team in Slack carries the same details.
When you visit our own server records which pages you view, what you click, how far you scroll, how long each section is on screen, errors, how fast the page loads and where you came from (the link or ad). It sets two cookies from this domain: dnx_vid (a random visitor id, one year) and dnx_sid (a random session id, 30 minutes of inactivity). We never store what you type into a field, only that you filled it. Your IP address is kept as a network only (the first 24 bits of an IPv4 address, 48 of an IPv6 one) and your country comes from our network provider. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we do not record your visit. We use this to see what helps and what confuses people, to keep the site fast and to filter out bots.
Google Analytics 4 also measures visits. It loads after you scroll, tap or press a key, or a few seconds after the page loads.
Cloudflare, which delivers this site, also counts visits with its own analytics script (Cloudflare Web Analytics). By Cloudflare's description it sets no cookies and does not store your IP address.
Who sees it
Our team at HGX Media. The services that run the site for us: Cloudflare (network), Hostinger (hosting), Google (analytics) and Slack (our internal alerts). If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also with WhatsApp. We do not sell your details or share lists of leads.
How long we keep it
Demo requests: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted. Visit records: up to 24 months. We delete sooner if you ask.
Your choices
- Ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
- Withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time. Say "stop" on WhatsApp or write to the address above.
- Send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, and your visits are not recorded.
Write to [email protected] and we reply within 90 days, usually much sooner. If we do not resolve it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Who this is for
This site is for people who run or work in a business. It is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we change this page first and update the version above.
